Following an amendment of the Town and Country Law and the Streets and Buildings Regulation Law on the 06/10/2011, the deadline for the submission of Declaration of Intent regarding the Amnesty Legislation has been extended until 06/04/2012.

Further, according to the recent amendments of the legislation there is no need anymore for the Declaration of Intent to be attested by an Affidavit of a professional - member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber, namely an Architect, a Civil Engineer etc. A written declaration by the Applicant suffices.

Finally it is to be noted that any person that submitted on time a Declaration of Intent must submit a full application by April 7, 2014 to the Planning or Building Authority for the legalisation of any irregularities.
